Production from the Johan Sverdrup field commenced on 5 October
PDO (Plan for Development and Operation) for the development of the Solveig field in the North Sea is submitted.
Production from the Edvard Grieg field commenced on 28 November. Edvard Grieg is our first own operated production platform.
Together with licensees we submit PDO (Plan for Development and Operation) for phase one of the Johan Sverdrup development to the Parliament.
We make an oil discovery at the Alta prospect in the Barents Sea.

The forst expolration well at the Avaldsnes prospect hits what will become the Johan Sverdrup field
We expand our core area on the Utsira High with further exploration acreage. This turns out extremely important to the company.
In 2007 we drilled our first exploration well and made the discovery of the Edvard Grieg field
The company is established, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Lundin Petroleum, and recieves governmental approval as an operator company on the Norwegian Continental Shelf.
